Death becomes you
All that lives is born to die
Time is your master
Believe in fate, choice or chance
You don't know bliss from disaster

All the good things ... and none of the bad
Lovers from the past you might have had
Afraid to love
Afraid to lose
Afraid to live
Tomorrow begins again ...
Once upon a time

I hopped on a Tardis
To see beyond time for myself
Discovered that history
Is nothing but books on the shelf

Volunteered as a martyr
To do what I could for the cause
But, when it went viral
All it did was expose all of my flaws

You don't read to me anymore
You don't sing to me anymore
Talk has lost its intimacy
Too much of life is wasted time
I can only do so much, I'm losing my mind
I wish we could start again

I joined a cult
Worshipped wealth, power and fame
But it was a trap
A honey pot, a rigged game

I was a fly on the wall
Cause someone has to spy on the spies
But no one would believe me
They all said I had lying eyes

Be a skeptic
Be true to yourself
Be a lion
Be a hunter
